Defaults reflect Etsy's US fees as of June 2026 (etsy.com/legal/fees): $0.20 listing, 6.5% transaction on item + shipping, 3% + $0.25 payment processing. Offsite Ads is 15% for shops under $10k/yr in sales or 12% at/above $10k (capped at $100/order) and only applies to offsite-ad-attributed orders. Edit fields for your situation.

Understanding Etsy Fees

Etsy stacks several fees

A single Etsy sale can carry four fees: a $0.20 listing fee, a 6.5% transaction fee (on item price AND shipping), a 3% + $0.25 payment-processing fee, and — if the sale came from an offsite ad — a 12–15% Offsite Ads fee. They add up faster than most sellers expect.

Watch the offsite-ads fee

Offsite Ads is the fee that surprises people. Shops under $10,000/year are auto-enrolled and cannot opt out, paying 15% on ad-attributed orders. That can turn a healthy margin into a loss on a single sale, so factor it into your pricing.

Pricing to absorb the fees

Because Etsy fees can exceed 20% with offsite ads, your list price has to be set with all of them in mind. Knowing competitor pricing helps you find the highest price the market will bear so the fees come out of margin, not your pocket.
